Bill Mazer came to Buffalo in 1948 to join WKBW Radio. On June 24, 1952 he moved to WGR Radio. Mazer would move to WGR-TV in 1954 and would spend 10 years at Ch 2 until leaving Buffalo for New York City in 1964. He was inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 1999.
