Last week, Assemblymember Jon Rivera presented Officers Olszewski and Urbanski with proclamations for their excellent police work in acting quickly to help maintain campus safety during an altercation at the Sports Arena in February.
Last week, UPD officers were recognized by ASIS International (WNY) for their work in arresting two armed suspects on campus in February. The recipients were Officers Urbanski, Bookmiller, Styn, Olszewski and Dougherty (not pictured), as well as Lt. Helling.

The @buffalostate University Police Department temporarily suspended the grooming standards for the department to allow officers to participate in the eleventh annual Goatees and Beards for Charity fundraiser. $1,255 was raised for the WNY Law Enforcement Helpline.

Earlier this week, University Police conducted an emergency response training fire drill on campus. THIS WAS JUST A DRILL
