We kicked off our pirate day with a treasure hunt, we had to follow the clues all over the playground and collect four gold coins in order to open the treasure chest.
This week we have been looking at the story “Martha maps it out” and the children have been creating their own group maps, thinking about the different features of our local environment.
Supertatoes have had a lovely afternoon, starting with a nice relaxing peer on peer massage with some lovely calming music and followed by some fresh air in the field playing ball games, on the adventure playground and in the tyres, what a fun way to end the week.
One of the stories we will be learning about this week is “Bloom” by @Juliasealbooks the children have really taken on board the key messages from the story and loved the beautiful illustrations.
This week we are learning about how we can look after our oceans, for one of our challenges we are using tweezers to remove plastic and other rubbish to save the sea creatures.
