@AkugizIvan @AustinBr_ian I think the time they were designed fuel consumption was not a major consideration but performance. America is a large country and they like freedom, hence huge rides (can tow a trailer camper car) were the choice then. Also, CO2-driven global warming was unknown then.

@AfricaFirsts Swahili is not indeginous in African countries. When Arab slave traders arrived in East Africa, they adulterated indigenous dialects, mainly Bantu languages with Arabic words giving birth to Swahili. Just like patois in the carrebean is a mix of multiple dialects.
