Hell even Hagan gets more incorporation in modern mixed techniques than Strasberg. Though Lee originated the term, in common parlance Adler and Meisner are also considered Method.

Stanislavsky (whom the Strasberg’s Method is supposedly based) also wrote of the dangers of using one’s own trauma in their work. Seems Adler was a better student of his than Strasberg.
I’d also argue that Meisner and Adler are far more prevalent methods today than Strasberg’s.
