It makes the assumption that bc the text has some literary devices and ancient war language that there fore the entire accountmust be symbolic theological literature. But that doesnt follow. Many historical texts contain both of thoseAnd are valid

But God is the giver and taker of life and the giver of either enternal life or torment. And is always just and good.

Literary devices in a historical texts or ancient grandiose war time claims, when the same text corrects them, is not enough to say that they aren’t historical.
