Si Usec Cabral ang nagconfirm ng 51 billion insertions ni Pulong sa Davao City. Ito na ang pinakamalaking halaga na nakurakot ukol sa issue ng flood control. Hindi pa sumipot si Pulong sa ICI kaya halatang may tinatago.

Kaya nananawagan ako sa ICI/DPWH/OMB baka naman pwede ninyo maimbestigahan ito.

1. Kunin sa DPWH ang bawat contract na bumubuo ng 51 billion peso insertions ni Pulong from 2019 to 2022.
2. I-confirm sa DBM/COA kung lahat ng projects na ito ay nabayaran na.
3. Ipatawag lahat ng contractors na nakapirma sa mga contracts.
4. Samahan ang contractors at District Engineer sa Davao City para ituro nila kung saan ang eksaktong location nung mga nasabing 51 billion peso projects ni Pulong.
5. I-check kung ang mga projects na ito ay ghost o substandard.
6. I-file ang nararapat na kaso.

There is no question that in the crucial investigation of cases such as suspicious deaths, an autopsy and DNA tests are indispensable.

That’s why something is really fishy about the Cabral family's resistance to an autopsy and further investigation into former DPWH Usec. Maria Catalina Cabral’s death.

The family should be the first to be screaming for justice and demanding a full investigation. Instead, they refuse to treat it as a highly suspicious death—readily accepting that it was an accident and that the government should leave it at that. It gives rise to speculation that the body is not Cabral’s and the driver and family are all involved in the alleged staged suicide.

This should raise alarm bells for the PNP. There is an urgent need for an autopsy and DNA test, with her personal effects confiscated as evidence in the investigation.

However, it is concerning that the PNP appears to be botching this up by going easy in securing Cabral’s belongings, as news reports indicate that her cellphone was immediately turned over to the family. It seems that the PNP is not treating this as a death under investigation, but as an ordinary death where family has prerogative over personal effects and the body itself, which should not be the case since this is a suspicious death involving a controversial personality.

Cabral, maraming katanungan ang maaaring hindi na mabigyan ng kasagutan at kalinawan, kaya dapat lang na may urgency ang mga awtoridad sa paghagilap at pagprotekta sa mga ebidensya sa nangyari sa kanya at sa kinasasangkutan niyang anomalya. Hindi pwedeng sa pagkamatay niya ay mailibing na rin ang mga katibayan, lalo na ang buong katotohanan, sa malawakang katiwalian at pandarambong sa kaban ng bayan.

This is deeply personal for me.

For almost seven years, I was imprisoned on fabricated charges, accused of crimes I did not commit—all because I dared to speak out against Duterte’s drug war. While I was behind bars, thousands of Filipinos were killed without justice, their families left to grieve with no answers, no accountability.

Today, Duterte is being made to answer—not to me, but to the victims, to their families, to a world that refuses to forget. This is not about vengeance. This is about justice finally taking its course.

I faced my case, knowing I was innocent. I stood before the courts because I had nothing to hide. Duterte now has to answer for his actions, not in the court of public opinion, but before the rule of law. This is how justice should work—those in power must be held to the same standards as everyone else.

To those who have fought this long and difficult fight—your voices mattered, your courage mattered, and today, the pursuit of justice continues.

Matagal na tayong walang nakikitang pananagutan sa kanya, at patuloy ang ating laban para sa katarungan.
