Neat! Osbourn Dorsey was an African-American man who invented the doorknob and doorstop in December of 1878. He successfully obtained a patent for his work in the same year.

Cudjoe is one of the last known survivors of the #TransatlanticSlaveTrade. Cudjoe gave one of the only accounts of what life was like in Africa, and #themiddlepassage. In #ZoraNealeHurston book #Barracoon, Cudjoe told an horrific story the #Agojie of the #DahomeyKingdom.
