So first, take action against the professor while the investigation is still ongoing. Then put out a statement saying it was “inappropriate” to characterise events before the investigation was complete.
The irony writes itself. Apparently due process is important… just selectively. And this is our so-called premier institute. Embarrassing.

We are living in bizarre times. First CJP, now IIT Bombay. The SC/ST Act was enacted to protect people from caste atrocities, not to become an instant weapon whenever there is a dispute.

Catch a student cheating, do your duty, and end up booked under the SC/ST Act and removed from your administrative post before the allegations are even established.

If due process can be replaced by pressure and protest, we have a serious problem. Laws meant to protect the vulnerable lose credibility when they are perceived to be weaponised. #IITBombayProtest

We’re living in crazy times. Cheating is wrong, but apparently taking action against cheating can make you the problem.
Due process matters, but so does academic integrity. If enforcing basic rules becomes controversial, we really need to ask where we’re heading as a nation. #IITBombayProtest

Trying to cancel an Airtel Wi-Fi connection feels harder than getting one installed. 😑

The Airtel app has options for everything except a simple, clear “Disconnect my connection” button. Why does cancelling a service have to be a treasure hunt?

There should be a documentary on how the Narendra Modi government tackled the Naxal problem in India. The scale of the transformation, the strategy behind it, and the people involved deserve to be documented properly. For something this significant, it’s surprising how little it’s talked about. @NetflixIndia @PrimeVideo
