We love learning more about entrepreneur stories and the complex challenges that new tech is solving. This episode was a great example of that (link in comments). Check out what @rblalock has been working on @FishRulesApp. Also linking his daily log in the comments.
How many developers learned to code because they wanted video games to do what they wanted? That's how @rblalock got started. More on his journey to being a founder and CTO in his chat with @jhaynie happening today. https://t.co/cYrKAF0UO8
Tune in tomorrow as @jhaynie and @rblalock discuss the tech that's solving a real challenge for the fishing industry and how long they've known each other. They estimate it's been 150 Tech years, 2/3 versions of java, and 100 versions of node ๐ https://t.co/nfQRJKGrWx
Who needs a CMS when you've got @pinpoint_sw?
Just moved our blog over to a public workspace and it was the smoothest experience to write, manage feedback, and publish. https://t.co/b0Ug7UmMNM
Leading developers when you aren't a developer...
@ScottD_II wanted to lead with empathy and better understanding so he started taking coding courses.
Now he is committing code to Pinpoint and building a Twitch TV app on the side. ๐

@tinyprojectsdev We love what you're doing, Ben! Would love to have you and the on podcast to talk about all your tiny (yet big) projects. https://t.co/tel9AKZj3v
This was a refreshingly raw and honest conversation with @seungchan and @jhaynie about how the dialogue we have with ourselves as creators impact our mental health. Tune in next week. https://t.co/M3gxEE56GU
The first job ad posted @JeffBezos for his "well-capitalized Seattle start-up" 25 years ago for a unix developer. I wonder who was hired...๐คhttps://t.co/keISiaI2CF
I looked at the sensor on my mouse and a large piece of dust attached itself to the sensor. Wipe off the dust and mouse worked again! Sometimes as devs we lean to the most complicated solution when the simple is the way to go. Simple works and is faster to implement.
