This isn’t the kind of post you’d typically see on a serious project page, but I wanted to get something out whilst we’re building.

BuiltBy isn’t a typical rug or short-term cash grab. It’s a project I’m genuinely passionate about, and me and my co-workers are incredibly excited to build it.

Many have tried the concept of a social layer for developers, or “Devs.”

You may remember a few projects called “Devscan.” Most were brief, low-effort, malicious projects that never went anywhere.

But I see something much bigger in the idea.

Think Kolscan, but for developers, with a level of depth that goes far beyond simply tracking wallets.

A place where devs can build a brand around themselves.

Where they can gain support for their projects, get eyes on ideas before they launch, showcase what they’re building, pitch rewards, build reputation, and actually become recognizable within the space.

There’s so much that can come from this.
