WBA Wolves 5’11 2028 Tyron Jones (Wayne Preparatory Academy, NC) is one of the better off the dribble shooters in the event. He is highly efficient shooting from all areas knocking down shots off step backs, dribble pull-ups, side dribble pull-ups. Tyron has a crafty handle and quick footwork allowing him to create space and get to his spots off the bounce. He uses cat quick crossovers, step backs, between the legs dribbles and can explode off a dribble move going left or right to attack the rim or drive into a dribble pull-up. He has sound shot mechanics, fluid. Quick, compact release allows him to get shots off in tight windows in both on and off the ball scenarios. Tyron attacks the basket combining physicality with crafty footwork and a nice touch. Plays through contact. He averaged over 10ppg for Wayne Prep and shot almost 40% from beyond the arc. Tyron is highly athletic and has a great motor. A solid on ball defender with instincts and quickness to disrupt passing lanes.
