This teams mentality is sooooo soft. Absolutely no urgency at the end of the game. Content with a draw, hoping for a win. Have to hope that doesn’t come back to bite.
We are at the spot where if city drop any more points, I think must win the Prem. With us having to go to city still it’s possibly only a 3 point gap still. Any more breathing room and we must win it. Btw I think we are going to do it.
🚨 Declan Rice is expected to MISS Arsenal’s match against Aston Villa tonight. Rice picked up a knee issue during the win over Brighton on Saturday, but was able to play on & remained hopeful of being fit to play tonight. ❌ [@gunnerblog]
A RB in January is absolutely crucial to this teams ability to win the league. Ben white and Timber have been victim to years of poor squad building. One final piece to the puzzle to get this team over the line.
But as we found out it was too little too late. They have to start that run starting with Everton to win the league. Have to just assume city are going to win every game they are supposed to win.
Yesterday was embarrassing even with the 3 points. But last year we were losing games like that not winning. Maybe we are the team of fate this year. Or we are setting our selves up for the most painful 2nd half of the year. Let’s wait and see.
This season is cooked if we don’t find a way to get these injuries under control. A lot of U23’s should play the Brugge game to get everyone the rest they need and Nwaneri, Dowman, MLS and now Salmon need minutes against serious competition so they are ready if called on.
🚨 William Saliba, Declan Rice & Leandro Trossard did NOT take part in Arsenal training this afternoon. ❌
Rice & Trossard were thought to be training indoors, with a decision expected to be made over whether they travel with the squad to Belgium today. ⏳🇧🇪 [@sr_collings]
Why am I seeing Gyokeres is shit but Ekitike needs to play more for Liverpool? Don’t even have to mention the other Swedish striker, he’s washed at 25. Give gyok time, he will bag, it’s what he does.
His selfishness is why we are in this CB crisis. Playing through injury for a friendly is madness. Only an Arsenal player does that. All these other clubs have there players going home if their pinky toe is sore.
