Black, yellow, red, and a whole lot of Ugandan pride! 🇺🇬
64 years of independence, and plenty to celebrate.
For us at Bulamu, that includes the work toward a healthier Uganda, where quality healthcare is within reach for more people.

Getting ready for Kumi! 👨🏾⚕️
This week, we’ve been screening patients in Kumi District as we prepare for our Surgery Intensive Camp later this month. 🩺
The goal is to provide free surgeries to those who need them most. 💙

One message came through clearly in Kibuku: we can prevent more mothers from dying from PPH. ❤️
A few moments from the 2026 PPH Awareness Campaign Commemoration, bringing people together around preventing and responding to excessive bleeding after childbirth. 🎥
#BulamuCares
Earlier today in #KibukuDistrict, the @MinofHealthUG , @Amref_Uganda , @UNFPAUganda & @Bulamu_official convened us for the @WorldPPHday. This day reminds us of the mothers who die due to excessive bleeding after childbirth- behind every Statistic, is a mother.
PPH doesn't come on the day of delivery, rather its built before pregnancy, during pregnancy & during delivery.
This means that mothers should prepare and eat healthy to build iron stores and keep the body strong to push and resilient reduce tears and be able to be on itself.
As a #Nutritionist i stand for integration of Nutrition in Maternal Child Health & Newborn.

Thank you for being part of the day and for speaking to the nutrition side. You’re right, it starts long before delivery.
Grateful to stand with you in this.
The work continues. ❤️

Not every teacher stands in a classroom. Sometimes, they’re right there on the ward. 👩🏾⚕️
In healthcare, learning often starts with someone saying, “Let me show you.”
Here’s to those who teach, mentor, and help others care better. 💙

There’s more to new equipment than plugging it in. 👶🏾
As we get neonatal equipment into public health facilities, we’re training health workers hands-on too, so they can use these tools confidently in everyday newborn care.
#BulamuCares#BulamuHealthcare#NewbornHealth
A newborn needing specialized care shouldn’t have to travel far to get it. 👶🏾
We’re helping equip public health facilities across Uganda so more newborns can access the care they need, closer to their families and communities.
#BulamuCares#NewbornHealth
Bringing essential newborn care closer to home. 👶🏾
We’ve delivered and installed infant incubators across Pallisa, Butebo, and Kibuku, and trained health workers on how to use them.
For newborns who need that extra care, the right equipment is now closer.

Bringing neonatal care closer to families most in need. 👶🏾
This week, we’ve been in Pallisa, Butebo, and Kibuku, delivering neonatal equipment, getting it installed, and taking health workers through how to use it.
Now, it’s ready to be put to work.

Today’s prescription: a well-deserved thank you. 💊
