@KindikiKithure Dear DP, I am a concerned Kenyan farmer due to milk price frustration. The government has guaranteed minimum return of Kshs 50 but we continuously get low prices upto Kshs 41. Can we get some help on this area pls otherwise dairy farming is becoming unattainable?
@newkcckenya, @Cooperatives_KE Can you confirm why milk is retailing at kshs 41 despite assurance from the government on the minimum return of Ksh50 to the farmer?
@WilliamsRuto Mr. President, you have mentioned in your interview about farmers minimum returns. Milk for example the government have a spend of Ksh53 so that farmers get Ksh50. Some cooperatives are paying less than that. Ksh47 for example. Can the ministry explain to you why?
4. To mitigate the gap on security for those whose security have been withdrawn from the above scenario, a separate bill can be fronted to arm selected and qualified security firms so that those who wish to have security can high the firm's. This again will create more employment
