@TheAnchoress @Pontifex @OSVNews Our diocesan bishop lives in the rectory at the Cathedral; the rector, vicar, and other priests on one floor, the bishop on another.

[Knights of Columbus @KofC]

Despite prejudice and hardship, Venerable Augustus Tolton remained faithful to his calling and became a powerful witness to hope and perseverance. His life reminds us that holiness is never defeated by adversity.

Pray today for unity, healing, and reconciliation in our nation, asking God to help us see one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.

@DarenZehnle @FrHilderbrand Didn’t Archbishop Garcia-Siller go from auxiliary bishop of Chicago to archbishop of San Antonio?

[Gator Deacon @BullGator84]

@BenSasse Our prayers for you and your family; may our loving God bring you and yours peace and healing.

@AskPapaJohns Very disappointed tonight in that my local @PapaJohns refused to honor my valid $10 Papa Dough. Now I’ll lose the points and they didn’t give me credit for the order I placed. Time to find a new pizza vendor that honors its promotions.

[Fr. Daren J. Zehnle @DarenZehnle]

The Venerable Servant of God Augustine Tolton died 126 years ago today. Let us ask him to show us how to love the Church, to love the priesthood, and to live in simplicity and joy without resentment or anger. Pray for us, Father us!
