@JM_Scindia ji, adding u 2 this post because I am a promoter of postal services & believe it's not only the oldest way to communicate in modern world but it's the best way to convey one's feeling(it's handwritten & thoughtful) which can b preserved & diff emotions aftr many years

Situation is, I can't ask my daughter directly about receiving the letter (as it was an emotional surprise)
Question - If our postal system is so unpredictable then we should stop it and only promote Speed Post and other "valueable - ₹" services

I had sent a handwritten letter (normal post) to my daughter on her birthday but till date it has not reached her. I went to the post office today but got a very cold response - "we can't help you if it's normal post" (though intentionally I had written my phone number also)
