We had such fun in needlework and cookery (admittedly be naughty at times) but I learnt a lot ! I’m nearly 60 and probably could still put cotton on a sewing machine, albeit an old one … cookery lessons taught me all my basics ! When my grandchildren stay they love cooking, so I pass on what I learnt. I’m not sure that’s taught anymore in schools which would be sad x
