A daily reminder to REAL Christian men,
Your wife or any woman— is not your property. Jesus never called for you to control wife, and that your wife must bend her knee to your will.
Ephesians 5:25-28 is the charter:
You are to lead your house with the same respect and dignity Jesus lead his sheep during his pilgrimage on earth.
Your role is to lead your family down the path of Christ, to love and respect your wife—to treat her with dignity, and to lay your life down if need be to protect her.
A man’a Godly role doesn’t involve forcing your wife to give you sex, control what she wears, what she says, what she eats, how she thinks, etc— if you have manipulated the word to come to your conclusion that doing these things is apart of your role as headship of your home, you are in grave error because this behavior is not Godly, it is abuse.
Marriage is an about MUTUAL submission—FULL STOP!(Ephesians 5:21 )

@CluffK@TaylorRMarshall Disprove his statement! If you are going to accuse someone of committing grave sin than prove how they breaking such commandment.
But you think the government has business kicking out Islam and Muslims based on their religion….
You do not like it when the shoe is on the other foot!
I’m not talking about what individual Christians might think
I’m talking about the U.S. government
I can say confidently that the U.S. government has no business recognizing the Christianity of literally every other religious sect that worships Jesus Christ—with one exception
There is no leeway.
Like Is said, you can look to the Old and New Testament to disprove Mormons interpretation based on God consistently staking the claim to be the one and only true God.
When you allow people to inappropriately interpret the word, you end up with vastly different versions of the word and Jesus—i.e the very thing that has happen with the establishment ment of Mormonism.
The Bible is not black and white. It is not a book made up only literal text: When God and Jesus speaks, they are either speaking in parables, metaphor, and in the literal sense, and you need to understand this to actually interpret the Word properly.
In order to understand what God is saying, you must read the entirety of the Bible. It is one continuous text made up God continuous word.
God in the Elijah verse he is staking the claim he is the only God, and he continued to revels throughout both the old and New Testament, so if he is saying that he the only God then the verse you bring up, he doesn’t need to stake the clam they are false God for it to be true.
Furthermore, Exodus 12:12 is not saying the Egyptian gods actually exist as divine beings. It is saying that God executes judgment against them meaning He demolishes their pretense to power. The Egyptian gods were idols, demons, or simply the imaginations of human hearts. By destroying what Egypt trusted in (firstborn sons, military power, the supposed protection of their deities), God proved those "gods" were nothing.
When Elijah declares "The LORD, He is God," he is making the same point: the only real God is the God of Israel. Baal, the sun god, the storm god—all the deities of the surrounding nations—have no actual power. They are false claims dressed up as divinity.
@jacobxyc@WokeSamurai@TaylorRMarshall Cool story… Utah is not made up of 100% Mormon, so stop pretending Mormons are the only ones that has help build Utah is nonsense and false.
