Congratulations to our amazing ECN male athletes at sectionals track this weekend! Easton Kendrick (6th) and Lucas Mammosser (7th) - 1st place in the 4x100 relay (50.77) and 4x400 relay (4:11.70) and Camden Schick (7th) - 1st place in high jump (4'7.5"). Good luck at state!
Congratulations to ECN's Stella Bontz (8th) for taking 1st place at sectionals in the 400 M and pole vault! She also broke another school record in the 400 M with a time of 1:01.61! Terrific job, Stella!

The fifth-grade students have been creating cardboard carnival games during STEAM. The pre-school and kindergarten students had a blast testing out their skills while playing these games!

Little coders, big wins! π€
This week, 1st and 2nd graders joined the after-school coding club. The smiles, high-fives, and βit works!β moments were exciting. Coding teaches problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration from the start.
Santa's reindeer needed a break, so KaiBot was willing to help out! Second-grade students created miniature versions of their homes to add to our map. Then, they worked in groups to code KiaBot to stop at all of their houses!
Did you watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? Fourth grade had a whole unit about it! We wrapped it up in STEAM by creating our own balloons to fly through the parade route...robot style!
6th and 7th grade students were given 5 sheets of paper, masking tape, and 25 minutes to build the strongest "Thanksgiving Table" to hold as many textbooks as possible. The winning team ended up stacking 62 textbooks on top of their paper table! That is approximately 93lbs!
On Halloween, 3rd grade got a special STEAM session! Their objective? Launch pumpkins as far as they could across the classroom using catapults! Well...candy pumpkins at least...
