Today we celebrated our accomplishment of building an ABC museum with a scavenger hunt targeting the letter of the week, our favorite ABC songs and books and a discussion about our experience building the museum and what we would like to still add to our museum. Stay tuned…😁
Impressive work from the Girls and Boys basketball teams this evening. 3 big wins and still holding that first place seed in the Conference! 🔥🏀 @kcpublicschools@KCPS_Athletics
We went to the Red Sea this week via Zoom! We learned so much from our class parent about his job photographing marine life including the tools he uses for his job. Following our trip, students drew, wrote and dictated about their learning! Thanks Ziggy!
We collected data on the number of and types trees we found outdoors. Students enjoyed photographing the trees and drawing their favorite tree once back indoors. We are interested in knowing which trees will reveal their colors to us this fall and what colors we will see!🌳🍂
Tt is for tree-Coconut trees! We tasted coconut, held coconuts from Mexico and shook the coconuts to hear the liquid inside. We also took a Google Earth tour to locate Mexico, read our favorite tree book, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and made some coconut trees of our own! 🌴🙂🥥
We cradled and held our monarch until he emerged and was strong enough to fly away. My favorite quote of the day: “I can’t believe we have another boy!” 😂(*Two black dots on lower wings=male monarchs.)
