We’re literally living through this moment. And that’s something we just have to accept.
The pattern of behavior between the two empires is almost identical.
Ukraine, not necessarily Zelensky, will have to order a retreat from the rest of Donbas and sign a deal in Moscow if they want the war to end, but also if they want to retain any territory at all.
This is a sad moment. Folks who were early adopters and incredibly brand loyal are losing access to Tesla's larger flagship vehicles, unless they want to transition to a Cybertruck.
It does make business sense if one assumes humanoid robot demand will be higher than purpose built robots. ~97% of all auto units produced by Tesla globally are the Model Y, Model 3, & Cybertruck.
As we shift to an autonomous future, Model S & X production will wind down next quarter.
If you’d like to own one of them, now’s a good time to place your order.
Tesla wouldn’t be what it is today without Model S & X and their (early) owners – thank you for your support over the last decade
Based on reviewing the thread and independent sources (PubMed, NIH trials), AG1 provides a nutrient boost that may help with dietary gaps, but its 2025 trial showed no significant microbiome or metabolic changes vs. placebo—only minor nutrient improvements. Alternatives like chicory inulin ($20/mo) and resistant starch ($35/mo) have stronger evidence for gut and blood sugar benefits.
Useful for convenience, but not essential. Fair price: $40/mo max, given ingredients and competitors.
It's going to be an exciting weekend in northern Georgia & neighboring states this weekend. We rarely get snow and ice storms are even rarer, typically causing massive power outages. Generator prep for me today
[ Friday morning update ] An Ice Storm Warning is now in effect for parts of northeast Georgia from Saturday afternoon through Monday morning, where ice accumulations from 0.25" to 1" are expected. #gawx (1/2)
Well, Narcofuhrer Zelensky refuses to cede Donbass, a major red line for Russia, so his hissy fit yesterday in Davos was likely a last ditch effort for more support and seeding a scapegoat narrative that the West is to blame for his reckless strategic miscalculations. He'll still attempt to find common ground of some fringe issues of a peace deal to to make it sound like they're being reasonable. Meanwhile, Ukraine's electric grid rarely functions anymore and gasoline/diesel could be the next target, further undermining Kiev's military operations.

Zelenskyy: We discussed the hardest unresolved issue with Trump’s team — the eastern part of our country, the land.
This is what’s not solved yet. Trilateral meetings may show possible variants.

Could the Kiev Goblin be close to accepting more of Russia's peace terms, or is this just a last-ditch effort to obtain further support?
Zelensky was blunt and directly confrontational with EU & UK leaders today during his speech in Davos, a remarkable shift from the occasional & subtle criticism aimed at them in the past. It'll be interesting to see how the next two days of talks between the US, Russia, & Ukraine go in Abu Dhabi. 🍿
Also notable - Trump refused to sign any agreements with Zelensky today, preventing him from obtaining even the slightest amount of propaganda victory.
Key statements by President Volodymyr Zelensky during his speech in Davos:
“Just last year, here in Davos, I ended my speech with the words: ‘Europe must know how to defend itself.’ A year has passed, and nothing has changed.”
“Everyone has focused on Greenland. Most leaders do not know what to do about it. It seems everyone is simply waiting for the US to cool off on this issue, hoping it will disappear. But what if that does not happen — what then?”
“A tribunal on Russia, announced back in the summer of 2025, has still not been created. Not even a building has been allocated for it. Maduro is being tried in New York, but Putin, excuse me, is not?”
“Russian oil is being transported along Europe’s shores, and that oil is financing the war against Ukraine. This directly contributes to the destabilization of Europe. Russian oil must be stopped, confiscated, and sold for Europe’s benefit. Why not?”
“Today, Europe relies mainly on faith — faith that NATO will act in the event of danger. But no one has ever seen the Alliance tested at full strength. If Putin decides to seize Lithuania or strike Poland, who will respond?”
“Europe must learn how to defend itself. Sending 14 or even 40 soldiers to Greenland — what is that supposed to achieve? What signal does that send to Putin? To China? And perhaps most importantly, what signal does it send to Denmark?”
“Belarus in 2020 is the clearest example. No one helped its people. And now Russian ‘Oreshnik’ missiles are stationed in Belarus, with a range that reaches most European capitals. This would not have happened if the Belarusian people had prevailed in 2020.”
“Wouldn’t it be cheaper and simpler to just cut Russia off from the components needed to produce missiles, or even to destroy the factories that manufacture them?”
“Documents aimed at ending Russia’s war against Ukraine are almost ready. Tomorrow a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia is expected to take place in the United Arab Emirates.”
