The Knicks took a huge risk in firing Thibs, and this answer from Mike Brown shows why it has paid off:
“I come in with a great plan. Maybe the plan doesn’t work. Who adjusts, [KAT] or me? Me. I adjust. Sometimes the adjustment’s not enough. Every once in a while, we’re not on the same page. We talk about it. I adjust again. It’s my job as a coach to fit whatever scheme we have on both sides of the floor to all of our players, and if you’re a great player, I’ve got to make a little bit more adjustments or I’ve got to give a little bit more than you do.”
"If you lose a parent...you just look for signs and I'll take any sign I could get and I prayed to her strong before that possession…I take it as a sign my mom was there with me so I appreciate her so much"
— Karl-Anthony Towns🙏❤️

“He was criticized in Minnesota. He was criticized in New York. But the MVP of the Finals is gonna be Karl-Anthony Towns. He played two of the best games I’ve ever seen a big man play. That man earned his flowers.”
Charles Barkley with the highest praise for the Knicks center.
Russell Wilson finished his career with 46,966 passing yards and 5,568 rushing yards.
To put that in perspective, no other player in NFL history has reached both 35,000 passing yards and 4,000 rushing yards.
He’s going to be the Millennial’s version of Steve Young. Hard to appreciate in the moment, but we’re going to look back and recognize one of the best to ever do it.

Peabo Bryson’s passing is another reminder of how important black music journalists/outlets are. Because to label him as a “Disney singer” is damn near criminal.
Shoutout to the journalists and historians keeping our greats’ music alive as they transition.
The membership of the National Basketball Coaches Association joins the NBA family in mourning the passing of legendary Head Coach and Hall of Famer, Rick Adelman.
Rick Adelman coached in the NBA for 29 years, serving as a Head Coach for 23 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves. Over his coaching career, Rick won 1,042 games (10th all-time), was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021 and received the NBCA Chuck Daly Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023. Coach Adelman also enjoyed an eight-year NBA playing career with the San Diego Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Jazz, and Kansas City-Omaha Kings.
Adelman will be remembered not only as a coach and a player, but also as a mentor to so many in the basketball community. Rick was a husband to Mary Kay for 56 years; father to Kathy, RJ, Laura, David, Caitlin, and Patrick; and a grandfather of twelve. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Adelman family during this difficult time.
