@deadmanWalkenn @timeforjeffrey Easier said than done against Lamar…. The guy blows contain pretty much every week with a different opponent. Him, Jayden, and Dart are prolly the most dangerous runners in the NFC. Hoping you can start to get guys down now in the coming weeks.

I think they’ve found some luck on that the division is not going to be very good. 10/11 wins might be enough to win it. Eagles haven’t played any real comp yet, first chance was supposed to be tn but Caleb is hurt. They’re a much worse team than last year. Yes u have to handle business, but your getting some help from a division perspective

So Shotty gets zero credit for getting GP to play at this level and being able to coach him when one of the greats in Tomlin couldn’t get it from him? He gets zero credit for building a run game that compliments the offense to a T? Or finding Javonte, who coming off that ACL no one saw as a lead back in this league. Sure, if you want you can take Kellen and Shotty and say they’re at the same level play calling wise. But I think from a leadership standpoint, Shotty beats him in every category.

@jbensimonlfc @1053SS Again ur not wrong. Also think the play could have just been overall better. Use motion to get a guy breaking free or set up some kind of pick play. Shottys a conservative play caller, but maybe this was the kick in the ass they needed to start changing some things.

@jbensimonlfc @1053SS I agree with you to some extent. I’d want them to play to win instead of playing to not lose, both offensively and defensively. I’m just not sure that’s who they are rn. With Dak nearly getting sacked on just the play before I think he really just lost trust in the guys upfront.

I get it your point, but at the same time it’s not madden. I promise you if they threw a pick or took a sack in this situation there would be the same amount of “fire Shotty” noise….. every other coach in the league is prolly doing the same thing. Now you can argue the plays they called at the 2 weren’t the best, but on that last play if you don’t have a premier look you throw it away.

Engineering the best offense in football last season isn’t “success”….. going 3/3 with your top 3 picks in back to back drafts isn’t “success”….. rallying a team after a player commits suicide last season isn’t “success”…. There’s a lot more to being HC than just calling plays. Those guys had YEARS to make these mistakes, don’t jump ship just because Shotty is going through them rn. He’s done a lot more good than bad, and he’ll learn from this and be better.

How many snaps do you think Alijah Clark has had all offseason playing deep in prevent situation 😂…. Going into this game, I was truly expecting us to lose by 15 at a min. Down all those players against a fully healthy BAL team in another damn country is a TOUGH ask. IND is one of the better defenses in the league and they got 41 put on them. As a young team and young coaches they need to make all these mistakes so that when the stakes matter more later in the year, they’re not making them for the first time. Yes losing sucks, but it makes you feel much better about the next 3, if you can even win 2/3 and end up 3-3 through this tough stretch where you are figuring out your team your in a good spot. The Eagles haven’t played any real comp yet, they’re going to start losing games when their schedule heats up. That’s when we’ll make up ground.

@RJ51333694 @TheRealDA_Lee So aside from Ben Johnson, whose top landing spots were CHI and LA, who else would you have hired…. He may have been a safer hire at the time, but he’s done a lot of really good things that previous HC haven’t been able to do.

TJ Bass was getting turned all game. Cooper Bebe hasn’t escaped been great either. Without big Tyler, I’d trust the 70M in weapons you have on the outside against a loaded box as well. Now, regarding the first drive of the game I agree, you gotta find a creative way to get North/South and run it in. That’s kind of my issue with the offense right now. They are trying to be creative on ways to get the ball east/west to the perimeter, when they really need to find ways to help them play north/south. You don’t need all the gadget type plays to keep guys off balance, when they run simple football their guys just win and they move the ball much better.
