My guess for the no new character shown was that they’re saving that for later. I feel Godzilla is a playable character the game and the one in the stage is a hazard like they did with Rumble

It seems like the Godzilla track is specifically a CrossWorld? You can see the Travel Ring at the top of the hill, and there were no new characters or vehicles shown in this section, so, I guess we’ll be getting more CrossWorlds in addition to new regular tracks this time
