One of today’s stops 📍 Olathe West (6A🥎)

The Olathe West Owls are closing out the regular season with plenty of momentum. The defending 6A state champions sit at 21-3 and will wrap up regular season play tomorrow against the Olathe Northwest Ravens. Now in her sixth season, Cynthia Adams has guided the program to two state titles and has the Owls positioned for another deep postseason run as they chase a third championship. Emma Hale of SIK got to stop by their practice this afternoon and catch up with sophomore Stella Hamilton, freshman Kendall Bunch, Coach Adams, senior Emma Heinemann and junior Sadie Bundschuh. We will hear from them later tonight. #sportsinkansas

Olathe West Softball (6A🥎)

The Olathe West Owls are heading into the postseason playing some of their best softball of the year. The defending 6A state champions are 21-3 and will close out the regular season tomorrow against Olathe Northwest. In her sixth season leading the program, Cynthia Adams has built more than just a winning team — she’s built a culture. A culture centered around trust, energy, and playing for one another has helped guide the Owls to two state titles, with another deep postseason run in sight as they chase a third championship.
