I took a taxi from Tacirua Heights to Shalimar, and partway through the ride, the driver received a call. After the call, he suddenly said he couldn’t drop me at my destination and told me to get off in Khalsa. I thought, “Woilei se baci!,” and so, I told him I wasn’t getting off

the driver had the nerve to ask who my police friend was, what rank he held, and which station he was from. I told him my friend’s name and mentioned that he’s a constable at Samabula Police Station. The audacity of this driver—he actually had the gall to say,

So, I refused to get out of the cab. Eventually, he started driving toward his pickup, and while we were on the way, I called a friend who’s a police officer. My friend spoke to the driver, and suddenly, the driver agreed to drop me off. When we finally reached my destination,

Like, when will this issue of taxi drivers refusing to take passengers be addressed⁉️

Been without water since Monday & it's been difficult coz we’re at work most of the time and don’t know when the water trucks pass by. We live right at the bottom with a long driveway, so we often miss them. Could the water authority plz provide us wit sum water so we can fill up

They warned us about upcoming water cuts for 3 days like two weeks ago. So, everyone prepared by storing water but the cuts never happened. Now, without any prior notice, we've been without water since Monday in Tacirua Heights!

It’s deeply disheartening to read the messages and responses showing how some taxi drivers think and treat their customers like shit! Let’s please make a habit of noting down or photographing the taxi's registration number, along with the time, location, and date.
