No Ningolchakouba, perhaps one of the biggest festive moments in Manipur, and a black-lightless Diwali...More than 70000 displaced people who become homeless and refugees in their own homeland overnight, and 175 plus deaths, and still counting...

In the midst of all these, distributing sweets.. ladoo, celebratory smiles and laughter... for some election results in far away places!? And talking about sending two party MPs from the state in the coming election?

That's some kind of sensibility, decency and gut should one say sheer insensitivity, indecency and arrogance!

No one denies that celebrating success is normally expected. But it's about time and place. Afterall, the 'ningols' didn't have 'Ningolchakouba' for the first time in the history of the land, and people switched off lights on Diwali speak volumes!

❗️SC also slams Senior lawyer @advcoling appearing for the #Kuki tribes in #Manipur who asked for mass burial and said this was only to "keep the pot boiling".

❗️SC Panel said Kuki CSO are threatening the family and kin of the deceased not to claim the dead bodies or compensation.

BIG BREAKING: Maya (@GermanKukiChanu) claims the two Meitei teens of having been "apprehended and killed by the (Kuki) volunteers" after which their phone were "disposed off at Senapati". The next speaker says those teens had come to attend a wedding. He was immediately shut off by others saying such things shouldn't be discussed citing "it's an open space" and that it could "backfire".
