i've cancelled my yearly update pass and do not plan on renewing until celsys releases a better, clearer, and more specific statement, that DOES NOT throw its international users under the bus as their scapegoat

this is just a flimsy attempt by celsys to dodge having to explain folding under pressure from payment providers, because it's easier for them to rely on xenophobia instead of being upfront and honest about all of this

it's already a pain having to ignore bad faith attempts at turning this into yet another culture war discourse, but it becomes even harder to do so when the company itself is the one inviting it in in the first place

i've been a loyal international supporter of this company despite its recent rocky years , so being thrown under the bus like this feels like a giant slap to the face
