The thing is, I don’t care.

I don’t care that a single mom bought her kid a cookie, I don’t care that a person working 40 hours a week bought a Sprite with SNAP, I don’t care that a person less fortunate than me was able to buy beef instead of chicken.

I DO care, that we are supplementing trillion dollar corporations. Why are we funding private businesses? Why can’t they use their own money?

My perhaps unpopular opinion is that if you’re willing to risk your outdoor cat being run over or eaten by a coyote then you also accept the risk that it’ll be picked up by someone who will take better care of it by keeping it indoors
