Males and male-dominated society will reduce women to their looks - and then ridicule women for emphasizing their looks. Men will judge women by their appearance, and then mock women for caring about their appearance.

Men love accusing women of following a "hierarchical system", as if that wasn't the only thing about women that men (and society at large) are interested in and reward the most. Since they are born, women are indoctrinated into a system that values their looks as the one quality that matters most in their lives, with all else being secondary. Their upbringing, education, pop culture, the media they consume....everywhere they look, they're constantly bombarded non-stop with this one unidimensional message.

Men are the ones who created this "hierarchy" in the first place, and are exponentially more hierarchal and superficial. To the extent that women behave this way, it's because YOU made them behave this way.

So if you're confused by some aspect of female behaviour, look within yourself, ask your brain (or your penis) - and you'll find the answer.
