It’s not Tesla said bye bye but Tesla couldn’t withstand India’s genuine terms and conditions that they should either manufacture here in India or at least source 60-70% components from India and assemble but Tesla wanted 100% China made just to import and sell which is adding no value to our job market and economy hence unacceptable.

An expert panel of the Environment Ministry has recommended the grant of environment clearance (EC) to a 235-km greenfield expressway connecting Kolkata and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, which requires the diversion of more than 103 hectares of reserved and protected forest land in West Bengal. A part of the proposed National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project, which involves the construction of a four-to-six-lane expressway and costs ₹9,250 crore, will also pass through a tiger landscape.

The project will run through the districts of Purulia, Bankura, Pashchim Medinipur, Hooghly, and Howrah in Bengal and will require cutting 40,000 trees in non-forest areas and 10,000 in forest areas, according to the minutes of the meeting. NHAI has proposed twenty elephant-cum-wildlife underpasses about 8-10 meters in height.
