Given the full context of this throw (playoff game, they 100% lose if this isn’t converted, they ended up winning, etc.), this has to be one of the very best plays in recent NFL history.
@BenBrust wait did I just hear on the broadcast that the Rams use more play action than anyone!? Must be because Matt Stafford can’t throw from the pocket.
@Sam_Phalen You are missing something from the same charts that you’re using to prove your point. It’s pretty important. A great deal of that “loud contact” doesn’t result in runs due to two things:
1. He is borderline elite at generating swing and miss.
2. He keeps the ball on the ground.
@CraigCartonShow@TyJohnsonNews This isn’t true… but then again I wouldn’t expect much coming out of a guy with a sports show or a name I’ve never heard of in my life.
@ESPNMilwaukee@BenBrust When an ex below average college basketball player starts yelling into a mic about the NFL, you should probably just stop listening
The Ravens scored 30 points and on 6 of their final 7 possessions, but it’s time to have a conversation about our 2nd year QB who had just won 4 games in a row and threw for 280 yards in this one…
@Jared_Carrabis When you pretty specifically call out someone else’s team that made it further than yours as “candy ass,” and don’t expect people to respond this way… 😑
@FoulTerritoryTV@Ken_Rosenthal Understand Kratz’s criticism on Cubs lineup outside of Tucker, but loses all credibility when he says things like “who’s starting the first 3 games for them??” Um… idk. The best pitcher in NL in 2nd half, a guy with 7 quality starts in a row, and an all-star. Who else has that?
It appears Emmet Sheehan just intentionally kept the first MLB hit ball for Cam Devanney.
The team asked for the ball. The umpire threw Sheehan a new ball and he clearly switched it in his glove.
