The Starfish Story is immensely important to understand as a youth sports coach. It's crucial to be mindful of how our actions shape these young athletes, recognizing the immense responsibility we carry.

Recently, chatting with fellow high school coaches, I was reminded of the profound influence we have on our players' lives.

My ultimate goal? That my former players remember me not just for wins or losses, but for genuinely caring about their success and well-being. They'll probably remember me for being extremely passionate as well!

As coaches, we hold the power to shape our community and next generation. Let's handle it with care, mindful of the impact on these developing young hearts, minds and souls.
