Another awesome @wendywebbauthor novel that I couldn’t put down! I thought I knew where it was going halfway through, but I was WAY wrong! Now I just need another…
Just finished Gallows Hill by @darcyauthor, and I’m SO glad I read this book! I’m also glad I read it in the daylight and in one sitting😅I’ve never been a horror fan, but I LOVED it!
Suggestions please!! I’m looking for novels that feature protagonists who are POC, women, living with mental illness, from diverse SES, homeless, foster children, etc to add to a contemporary American Lit class.
I used to think the volume of the classroom dictated the quality of the teacher. I now know learning can be loud and can be messy. Loud classrooms aren’t necessarily managed poorly and quiet ones don’t always indicate learning is happening.

@chadogden7@shilliefisher@GovTimWalz When the maternal mortality rate is as bad as it is in this country, our (meaning those of us who can get pregnant) lives DO depend on it.
@heymrsbond @JoelRGarza@Lyricalswordz@MelAlterSmith I saw it as deeply sad. A beautiful being will be taken from its mother and home because of mankind’s obsession with subduing and owning that which we find curious.
@WriterLouisa I tried to stretch it out as long as possible, but I couldn’t help myself. I just finished The Age of Witches, and it was PERFECT! Thank you for a fabulous, sleep-deprivation-worthy read!
You know you have a problem when you start rationing books by your favorite author so you don’t run out… My next @WriterLouisa novel is already preordered, so here’s to cracking open a fresh spine! ❤️
I just finished South of the Buttonwood tree by @BooksbyHeather and CAN’T WAIT to get my hands on another of her books! If you like magical realism or are an #NPE , you’ll LOVE this book!
