Be a part of the Burien garden community. Gardeners are able to grow food and flowers in a 75-square-foot plot and steward the Green House Garden space. Each plot offers compost-rich soil and full-day sun exposure. New gardener registration begins on the second Monday in March.

A community petition to name the Burien skate park "Tim Hunter Memorial Skate Park" is being considered by the Burien PaRCS Board and City Council. Tim Hunter, a long-time skate park patron and local resident, passed away in 2020.
