I’ve gotten similar backlash as well for posting about gas prices and EVs. I got the “where did the energy come from…most come from fossil fuels”. EVs still produces upwards of 40% less emissions and GHGs regardless of the energy sources.

Everyone complains how much they spend for gas now. Yesterday my fill-up cost was zero and minimal when I charge at home. No one told you to buy a gas guzzler or live 30+ miles away from work. Blame Joe B all you want but it’s more than that as to why gas prices are so damn high!
