2 new Bridges on Cherry St. The one the right leads to... grass? Because before the condos, before there's even a road, or a track, or whatever, we build a separate public transit bridge, just to be ready. 'Cause that's how it's done in new T.O.
@cityoftoronto@TRCA_HQ It's hard to imagine improving on that gap in the fence by the water treatment plant leading to that path down where you slide down holding onto some roots. Ha ha ha ha #roots
After 7.30 AM (EST) launch of the big 'ol starship I looked up some #'s. There have been (ballpark) 2x as many Falcon launches (over 10 years) than there were Space Shuttle launches over 30 yrs. So launch increase by say factor of 6. & the payload is 2x bigger. Blamo! 12x! 12!
the garrison crossing over the tracks to Fort York is all the dog, bike and pedestrian goodness one could wish for (when en route to get some Canadian War Cake on Nov 11)
the waffle slab at the AGO - old school modernist coolness. From back in the day when labour was cheap and materials were expensive. It's poured-in-place; must have been some awesome form work. Looks great today
Nephew Danny going to MAC. We did 2 of my fav things - checking out modern lecture halls & using skeuomorf maps! I did lecture hall design for UofT & I'd say the Peter George bldg rocks! & that fine hand drawn paper map we used to get there.... well it was all good #happyuncle
mid week sail in Toronto harbour. I'm hogging the picture, but I'm just holding a jib line while Katie behind me runs the boat. We hit 9.2 knots - with the mainsail reefed. That's good

Our last night on Kawigamog, after the rain.
Only 1 object from my tent (visible) got dropped and fell over the cliff edge (these pictures are from the recovery mission - a portable accordion light that floated and survived)
This morning joined the bikers riding with mayor-elect Olivia C to city hall - A good show of how dense a traffic lane full of bikes is. Biking is a good way to move lots of people downtown in a small area. And it's fun #fun
