A great time was had today celebrating all things to do with science @GreatSciShare@HMC_School Lots of brilliant ideas when developing OWN investigations and deciding what to change and what to measure. Year 5 showed great science, skill, team work + independence!
We had the most wonderful first afternoon back yesterday exploring @GillianHibbs story ‘Errol’s Garden’ through our No Outsiders lesson. We role played ways to ask for help from neighbours, then explored what different neighbours may look like! 🤩 @moffat_andrew @HMC_School
One of our fantastic Foxes loves to sew - and is incredibly talented! She asked if she could set up a lunchtime club to share her passion. She has planned each session, organised resources and ran the first club today! We are so proud of her 🤩✨ @HMC_School@Burley_HMCS
Order! Order! These three really enjoyed being the Jury today and deciding on the appropriate punishment! Lots of reasoning and arguments and fantastic understanding of the punishments given in Anglo-Saxon times! @HMC_School#hardworking#curious
We were so fortunate to be able to have Andrew Moffat with us for the day yesterday, delivering a No Outsiders lesson to all classes and meeting with staff after school.@HMC_School @moffat_andrew #wearekind
The end of a History unit in the Foxes classroom brings with it lots of new learning. It is always wonderful to look at 'brain drops' from the start of a unit to the end of a unit. @HMC_School#hardworking#creative#curious#independent
What a treat to have @Teddy_HMCS with us yesterday afternoon in year 5. He was very supportive during our lesson and then watched Foxes as they got ready for the end of the day. @HMC_School@Garbett_HMCS
