@SaveWestern_Civ Because they paid in and it is their property. Not to pay them is theft. Now, I would support giving them an incentive to decline their promised benefit.
@oren_cass@FT@CliffordAsness Migrate from income to consumption taxes. Tariffs are a key to this strategy but the judiciary thinks they know better. Reduce manipulation embedded in income tax avoidance and will capture more from upper earners.
Single-payer universal healthcare for all Americans. I strongly supported it for years. What changed my mind?
Four things:
1. As long as millions of third-world foreigners are here leeching off Americans, we simply can’t have nice things.
2. Democrats haven’t met a social program they don’t want to extend to illegals. Again, we can’t have nice things just for Americans.
3. Leftists would force coverage of things like sex changes.
4. During COVID, leftists made it clear they’d deny you healthcare if you didn’t take an experimental vaccine.
@DrJStrategy Growth doesnt inc inflation. Price rises attacked via supply (stimulate via fed policy) and decrease demand (attacked via govt spending constraints)
Tarrifs, if tax, r voluntary. Y no discussion of price effects fr income, property taxes & th rent seeking subsidies in tax code?
@jimiuorio Contracts freely entered in to, need a resolution mechanism, so the courts should have a place, judiciary has dishonored itself and lost publicist trust.
Not long after President Trump was inaugurated, Erik Prince, the former CEO of Blackwater, a private military company, proposed he could remove 500,000 illegal aliens a month. This for a modest price of 26 billion dollars.
Deportations of this scale are required to even make a dent in the enormous illegal alien population.
If we were serious about deportations, this would have already been implemented
@DrJStrategy More supply at the same level of demand should become a lower price. Now, stop Gov't spending if u wish to constrain demand. It's the one thing Keynes got correct. How did his theory become gospel 4 goodness sake?
RFK JR: “In Minnesota… people with high school diplomas and nothing else were being paid $600 an hour [for autism services].”
“We went from paying $7 million a year for autism services in Minneapolis to $200 million a year. And most of that was stolen.”
@kimjongthunberg Christian boys fighting and killing other christian boys. Y? Who benefits? I think I have an answer and it stems from debts that must be repaid and a bit too much greed.
@wcmclaa Be careful with this line. I would read up on Luther and what he accomplished and what he was up against. The Church's reaction to Luther has its own story. There was a chance at reconciliation in the 1500s. Probably still there. Im Roman Catholic btw.
@EagleWatchUsa Don't get too impressed. I am willing to entertain that bettors and Vegas had a hand in slowing things down. All these sports shows are just entertainment and not pure any longer.
@AndrewCurran_ AI agents are the greatest tool of pattern recognition. It will only be a matter of time, until these agents recognize the instability of borrowing short to lend long. There r many more patterns that will become uncovered and maybe uncomfortable to confront
