@ErikSlater_ I think it's a good move. Helps teams get out of the treadmill of mediocrity while penalizing tanking. The worst teams in the league aren't usually there from lack of talent alone, more so poor management
@DougNorrie Nets should really take more of a MAC approach and try to take back Dame with some young assets the Bucks get after trading Giannis if they’re tryinna shed salary
@DougNorrie The real argument here is that trying to compete, establish a winning culture, develop the talent you have, and attract winning players is a better bet for success than tanking.. and a hell of a lot more fun to root for
@DougNorrie Oh the top 6 teams in the east only the Celtics are clearly there bc they drafted multiple top pick that hit. The rest is from good team building and later picks that hit
@DougNorrie I’m more concerned that the teams at that level are managed so poorly that they risk squandering any generational talent that miiiiight come their way
@DougNorrie You can’t possibly look at these probabilities and say it incentivizes tanking. The top 2 slots have nearly .50 probably of dropping to 5th or worse.
@NetsDaily If deron williams sports health didn’t fall off a cliff and they actually commited to keeping those guys around (And Brooks Lopez didn’t break his foot again) it might’ve worked. But they woulda been old and slow and not fun to watch. Also no leaders (a recurring problem)
