this is an officially unofficial wolves/NBA/whatever I'm watching at the time fan account firing off ill-thought tweets. Tech engineering/tech prog management
@OfficialNBARefs The silly social media advertisements about NBA refs loving the game while actively ruining it are hilarious. No way they are actually that stupid.
One of the worst arguments to today's NBA.
Free throw differential doesn't mean much and just allows the NBA to operate under that shield. It's truly pathetic that the @OfficialNBARefs decide to not call flops. High school refs trying to save what NBA refs are messing up.
Mike Brown just baited Kenny Atkinson into intentionally fouling Mitchell Robinson. Out of the timeout, the obvious intention was to foul again as soon as the ball was inbounded and make him shoot free throws. Mike Brown then subs him for KAT, and now the Knicks are in the bonus for the rest of the 4Q.
It was truly unfortunate to see the wolves go down by 20 and Chris Finch make zero personnel adjustments.
1) you sour appetites for staying with the wolves
2) you run your tiny, injured, exhausted rotation into the ground
3) you have no way to baseline skill level
@REichten Which, fwiw, is a lot better than Pek, Love, Rubio, kmart, Brewer or any iterations of that for 2 decades. But top 20% mediocre is still mediocre.
@REichten Unfortunately the piece the wolves really need is few and far between in the NBA. The year of the pg was a decade ago. We now have "buy into the coach's package or lose." If Ant can't develop into that type of a leader, it'll be a lot of 5-7 seeds and 1st/2nd round exits
@REichten There's no reason to think Ant, Jaden, and Naz are going to improve at any different rate than Castle/Harper/Wemby/Bryant or Chet/Ajay/McCain or any combination of young players OKC decides to keep. Probably the opposite actually
@JaceFrederick 100%. And this is the trickiest improvement to make. Younger and better for a floor general when 2 other teams are already young, amazing, and improving. Wolves moved from 2nd fiddle to 3rd quite loudly. And without a ton of options.
