4th section friendly village band. Always looking for new players young and old. Rehearsals are held in Burneside cricket club every Thursday - 7.30pm - 9.30pm.

At 09:00 this morning Burneside Brass and Burneside Brass training band performed a final tribute to HM Queen Elizabeth II.
Several hymns were played to a small group of people who stood quietly and respectfully outside St Oswald’s Church. We ended our tribute with the Last Post

Today members of Burneside Brass played the National Anthem outside Kendal town hall to herald the proclamation of King Charles III

The South Lakeland proclamation of King Charles III will be read by Chairman of SLDC Councillor Pete McSweeney on Sunday, 11 September.

The proclamation will take place at 12.30pm outside the front of Kendal Town Hall.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.
