Mr A Parkar, Engineering Manager at Heathrow Airport and his colleagues, Mr A Reed and Mr A Cruickshank came to BGS and showed behind-the-scenes work of the LHR Airport engineering team to Yr7.

On Friday 6th March 2026, we welcomed an array of our Alumni Community to The Lansdowne Club in Mayfair for our 'Friends of BGS' Reception. It was a wonderful evening, welcoming an array of Alumni from of various industries & professions. Thankyou to all that attended!
Today we have hosted our Annual Post 18 Careers Fair and Conference at Burnham Grammar School. Students within our Year 12 cohort have been able to talk and interact with a variety of Universities and take part in Careers talks/activities to assist with their Options Post 18.

Last week, students from BGS participated in their Annual Gym and Dance Show 2026. It was a fantastic three day event, showcasing our students dance and gymnastic talents. Well done to all students involved in these performances. A FANTASTIC SHOW!
BGS recently welcomed students from Teikyo School for a cultural exchange. They were able to observe and take part in various subjects throughout the day. Students from both schools enjoyed sharing differences and the similarities they share.
Year 8 students during the last week of term took part in a Work Experience Visit to Burnham Park Hall. Students took part in talks and tasks with Burnham Parish Council & various local businesses. Thankyou to all our speakers involved in this event!
Yr 12 Biology students attended the national Biology in Action conference at the Emmanuel Centre, London. Students practised evaluating evidence, interpreting data, and linking cutting-edge research to core A-level concepts.
BGS Students performed our Annual Christmas Concert at St Peters Church in Burnham. A magical evening of Christmas songs and festive melodies, beautifully played by our talented musicians. Well done to our incredible Music Dept, Stage Crew and students for a great performance.
Yr 9 students competed in the SEGRO Schools Challenge Grand Final. Students gave a great presentation of ideas for a new building launch event within the SEGRO Trading Estate. A great opportunity for our students to work alongside business volunteers & network with other schools
On Monday 24th November, Mr Mark Evans, from 'Futures for All Speakers', delivered a fantastic talk to our Year 12 and 13 students about his wide spanning career in Marketing. Thankyou Mark for your time and support as a speaker for our Careers Programme here at BGS!
On Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th November, our students delivered fantastic performances of their Senior Production 'Brainstorm'. Well done to our performers, stage crew & all involved!

On Monday 10th November we welcomed BGS Alumni Nat Carter to Burnham Grammar School to deliver careers talks to our students about her role at Transport for London. She delivered a presentation to Year 11 and Sixth Form. Thankyou for your fantastic talk for our students!
On Friday 7th November, our Year 9 cohort took part in SEGRO's School Challenge, which was a competition run by SEGRO & Learning to Work in the Slough Trading Estate. The winning team, won a place in the Grand Final and will represent the school in December 2025!
On Thursday 6th November, our Year 7 students took part in our Annual Year 7 Forensics Science Day. They pieced together clues, tested samples and analyzed fingerprints to solve the mystery and reveal the culprit. A fantastic event from our Science Department.

Together in teams they created a device that generates electricity, using a renewable energy source. It encouraged them to embrace challenge, collaborate and solve problems. Students had a great day
