@Julesnader386 The corporate Dems should keep in mind as they pick this fight that if they don't win the midterms decisively, they're done in this country as a political force. Bc if you can't win this year, you just can't win.
@C_Sommerfeldt And it's correct, but not for the reason you think.
The US failed to hold Russia in check and keep its promise to Ukraine to provide for their safety.
@Sigmundine2 It definitely is up to Maine voters though. That's literally how it works.
It's a weird time for the Dems to be picking fights though. If they don't win the midterms decisively, they're done. If you can't win in 2026, you just can't win.
@westwoodmom@ArmandoNDK If you're a "centrist" Democrat, you better hope he wins. Because if the Dems don't win the midterms decisively, they're finished in this country as a political force.
@ArmandoNDK You'd better hope he does.
Because if the Dems don't win the midterms decisively after picking this fight with the left, they're done. Because if you can't win in 2026, you can't win.
@HudsonIsOnline Conservadems are still claiming to play by a rule book that the Republicans and the media already burned.
Except when it's Andrew Cuomo.
@BbbForever02@JKerr1999@ECaliberSeven Say what you like, do what you like...but the corporate Dems should know that if they choose to fight this fight now, they *must* win the midterms decisively. If they don't, then no one has any reason to believe in them again. If you can't win in 2026, you just can't win.
@socsoyboy Democrats really should keep top of mind the fact that if they don't win this midterm in absolute blowout fashion, they're finished as a political force in this country.
One thing the Democratic Party should consider carefully as they try to trash people like Platner and Steyer:
If they don't blowout win the midterm elections, they are *done* as a political force in this country. Finished. No one will have a single reason for confidence in them.
@JebFain So i guess you all are going to try to make sure that he doesn't so you can say this.
I'll say this, if the Dems don't blowout win the midterms, they are done as a political party.
So y'all better act wisely.
@BobFakeNameEsq The difference is Franken was accused credibly by people in the Minneapolis left wing. Friendly fire, basically.
Platner is being victimized by a political operative whose story can't be credibly corroborated by anyone.
@brianros1 If you don't trust her, then what more is there to assess? Why would you give a claim from someone you don't trust any weight at all? Isn't that literally what trust is without evidence (of which she has none, and the NYT admits they can't corroborate her story) is?!
