❌ Blaming
❌ Complaining
❌ Making excuses

You don’t HAVE to play AAU as an underclassman. Colleges are NOT recruiting HS freshman or sophomores. You’re paying all this money to play on court G21 at 8:00am when there will be no college coaches there. Get in the weight room, work on your skills. Save money!
Marathon man @Tmashup21 put together recaps from the Burroughs-Burbank boys' and girls' basketball games on Wednesday.

Can I start a petition to change July AAU basketball?
How does playing 20 games in 10 days at all benefit the athletes? All in the name of “exposure”? No wonder why there are so many overuse injuries and dead legs at the end of July, these kids are exhausted!
If it takes a college coach watching 20 games in order to make an evaluation, they aren’t very good at their job.
The change to these four-day D1 viewing periods were well intentioned, but has just resulted in even more of a money grab from these AAU tournaments.
Alright, rant over, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
