FOX NEWS STAR MARIA BARTIROMO IS OUT: NPR
"Bartiromo joined the network in 2014 after becoming a star at CNBC. At Fox Business and the Fox News Channel, she hosted "Mornings with Maria" and other shows bearing her name. The network is rebranding those shows and will have a rotating cast of anchors host them.
Bartiromo, like many other Fox News hosts, has been a staunch supporter of President Trump. Following his loss to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, Bartiromo helped spread unfounded theories of conspiracy fraud.
Her on-air comments — and those of guests she invited on her show — featured prominently in a defamation case against Fox brought by the voting technology company Dominion Voting Systems. Fox settled the case for more than $787 million just as the trial was about to begin.
Bartiromo also features heavily in a second multibillion dollar defamation suit filed by a voting software company against Fox News over its statements in the 2020 vote. Until Thursday, Bartiromo was the only individual defendant still working at the network."

ADULTS 65+ OUTNUMBER CHILDREN WORLDWIDE
ZH: "The world’s population is aging rapidly, with people aged 65 and older expected to account for nearly one fifth of the global population by 2060, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s An Aging World: 2025 report.
The share of people aged 65 and older is projected to rise from 10.5% in 2025 to 19.6% in 2060. A major demographic milestone has already occurred. Between 2020 and 2025, older adults outnumbered children aged 5 and younger for the first time in recorded history.
By 2060, that share is expected to reach 23.4%. Despite this increase, the United States is projected to fall to 110th place"
Improved healthcare has extended lives while creating economic pressure on governments and families. Many people are working well beyond normal retirement, not simply for personal needs but to fill the void. Pensions (government and private), healthcare, assisted living, pharmaceutical... will undergo adjustments.

HOUSE DEMS BLOCK VOTE TO LIMIT SCOTUS SEATS AT 9
Rep Jamie Raskin (D): "We have exercised this power 7 times in our history, with the Court having as many as 10 Justices and as few as 6. I will vote against this radical measure abdicating a power assigned to us by the Framers simply to please a would-be king."
The 212-206 vote included 8 dem abstentions and did not meet the 2/3 majority.
The effort is to prevent DSA from packing SCOTUS.

PELOSI THREW HAKEEM JEFFRIES UNDER THE BUS: DEMS BLAST DSA
PJ: "On Tuesday, 192 of them voted against condemning socialism, a gift-wrapped attack ad for Republicans just months before the midterms. But that wasn't even the most embarrassing part of their day.
The real story is what happened behind the scenes, where two centrist Democrats blew up their own party's carefully laid plans to stop the vote entirely and exposed just how little control House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) actually has over his caucus- Pelosi (D-Calif.) showed up to twist the knife.
What happened was that the House passed a procedural "rule" Tuesday by a razor-thin 210-208 vote. Rules like this normally pass along party lines without drama. This one didn't, because two Democrats, Reps. Jared Golden (D-Maine) and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash.), broke ranks and helped Republicans push it through.
the rule condemned “socialism in all its forms,” a measure most House Democrats opposed because it also advanced the SAVE America Act. Golden said he’d “probably” support the anti-socialism language, but his real reason was the Northeast Lobsterman Protection Act"

DEMS BACKED OFF GOVT SHUTDOWN, FUND THROUGH NOV 11
Fox: "House Democrats relented to Republicans- It also marks the end of months of concerns that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., would again shut the government down for political gain as they vie for control of Congress."
Dems decided it was bad facetime to shutdown before the midterms.
Thune: "my hope is that this effort proves that government shutdowns serve no one, and we should quickly complete our work on the fiscal year 2027 appropriations process."

HOUSE VOTE TO LIMIT SCOTUS SEATS AT 9
Speaker Johnson: "House would vote on a constitutional amendment to cap the number of justices on the Supreme Court at nine. My background’s in constitutional law and litigation. We know that the nine justices of the Supreme Court has been the model that has served this country for many, many years, and it does not need to change. If we go down the road of packing the Supreme Court, it turns into a political palooza, and it would not serve the country."
The effort is to prevent DSA from packing SCOTUS.
The amendment will require 2/3 support of both the House and Senate to be ratified.

DSA NOV WALL, GAINING THE BLACK VOTES
NM: "DSA officials say their organizing is centered on economic concerns, from housing costs and food prices to stagnant wages.
DSA-aligned candidates have challenged, and in some cases defeated, more moderate Democrat rivals in a string of high-profile primaries, intensifying an internal party debate over whether progressive energy can translate into broader voter appeal when Democrats face Republicans in November.
Interviews with more than two dozen activists, strategists, and community leaders suggest DSA-backed candidates face an uphill battle with some Black voters in November. Some fear alienation from democratic socialists could threaten turnout among one of Democrats' most reliable constituencies."
Is DSA focused on people issues or is it ideological, eliminate police, big government, Jews, support Iran...?

IS USA GOING BROKE WITH $40T NATIONAL DEBT
Stephen Moore: "Our national wealth is roughly $180 trillion. So our debt-to-asset ratio, which has been rising, is still less than 25%- Almost $8 trillion of that debt is money the government owes to itself. For many years Congress has been stealing money from "trust funds" like Social Security. It's accounting hokey pokey, and if a private company raided a pension fund like this, they'd lock up the CEO for fraud. But this isn't debt owed to the public or foreigners. It would be like a wife loaning money to a husband. The money has to be paid back -- but to ourselves.
The main way to limit the negative impact of the debt is through growth, prosperity and a rise in asset values. What matters most for a household, a business or a government is how much debt you owe relative to how much you have in the bank and how valuable your other assets that you can use to pay it back are.
This means that any reform that lowers the growth rate of the economy, like a major job-killing tax increase, is likely to fail in solving the debt problem, and it may make it worse. These reforms also fail to acknowledge that we have more revenue coming in to the Treasury today than ever before.
Tax increases will only give Congress the green light to spend and borrow more- Congress is drunk on spending.

TRUMP'S $65B VENEZUELAN OIL DEAL: CUTS OFF CHINA, CUBA
Trump yesterday: "This Historic Transaction more than doubles American Oil Reserves, greatly increases our Oil Supply, and will substantially lower Gas Prices for all Americans, long into the future, while helping to continue to set Venezuela on a course toward Tremendous Success and Great Prosperity. This Transaction will greatly strengthen the already growing relationship between Venezuela and the United States."
Rubio: "It demonstrates how Pres Trump's bold foreign policy is driving America First wins, securing stable reserves and low-cost oil in our Hemisphere and lowering gas prices here at home."
Romain, chairman of Americans for Energy regarding Canada: "They don't have any refining capacity. They don't have a strategic oil reserve. They pull out of the ground a very thick, heavy crude oil, and we in the United States we have a very light suite, and we have to mix that together, blend it together.
So they send 4M barrels per day but what they get in return is gasoline. And so if they want to shut down the crude pipeline, fine go ahead. But you're not going to get any gas, and so it's it's a paper tiger."

TREASURY TO EXPLORE TAX DEDUCTIBLE DEM CHARITIES FUNDING VOTER REGISTRATION
NYP: "Bessent and the IRS are taking a hard look at the conduct of up to a dozen or so high-profile lefty nonprofits including George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the Council on American-Islamic Relations, with an eye toward possibly revoking their tax-exempt status."
JTN: "The report, titled “The ‘Charities’ influencing elections: 2024 and beyond,” written by the Capital Research Center (CRC), found that multiple left-leaning 501(c)(3)s, which are prohibited from engaging in any political campaign for or against a candidate and whose donations are tax deductible, acted as conduits for 501(c)(4)s, which are permitted to engage in direct partisan politics.
Those tax-exempt organizations spent $638 million during the 2024 election cycle, according to the report, to register voters most likely to vote for Democrats."
In the end, taxpayers are subsidizing hundreds of millions to to fund elections for dems.

WHAT ARE THE DATA CENTER JOBS THEY CREATE?
TH: "The answer begins with construction. Building a large data center requires electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, heavy-equipment operators, steelworkers, concrete workers, engineers, project managers, security personnel, and other skilled trades. Those jobs are temporary, but major projects can take years to complete and can employ hundreds or thousands of workers across the life of the build. Construction is, in fact, where most of the immediate employment effect occurs.
Now, onto the more disputed question of long-term jobs. Data centers do create permanent local employment, even if they are not labor-intensive in the manner of an old-fashioned factory. A Brookings analysis found that, over the first decade after a county receives its first large data center, employment in data processing rose 56 percent and employment in telecommunications rose 43 percent. In a typical county, those gains translate to roughly 100 to 200 additional jobs, depending on the type of facility.
The permanent jobs are also quite varied. Data centers need data-center technicians to install, test, repair, and maintain servers; network engineers and fiber technicians to keep enormous volumes of data moving; electrical and mechanical technicians to maintain generators, batteries, and power-distribution equipment. They need HVAC and cooling-system specialists to keep equipment from overheating; critical-facilities engineers and chief engineers to oversee the site’s core systems; operations managers; logistics and inventory personnel; and physical-security staff. Major operators also hire cybersecurity specialists, safety professionals, contractors, and vendor-management personnel to keep a facility reliable around the clock.
That covers the jobs inside the data centers themselves. What is discussed far less often is the broader employment these facilities can make possible across the technology sector, and across the economy as a whole. As computing capacity becomes more available, startups can build products that would otherwise be too expensive or too difficult to launch. Established companies can create new AI teams, develop new products, and take on projects that previously would not have made economic sense. That means more work not only for software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and cybersecurity specialists, but for the electricians, plumbers, construction workers, equipment technicians, and other tradesmen needed to build and sustain the infrastructure behind that growth.
The jobs a data center provides must be measured beyond the workers immediately inside the physical building. The benefits are broader and longer-term, even if much of the public debate is understandably focused on the immediate disruption: the construction, the land use, the power demand, and the number of local people hired on day one."
Some people will build or buy houses.
