@Green_Scouser Totally agree. It’s become a game of slow play, stop start and dominated by set pieces where everyone fouls everyone else. Add VAR to the mix and it’s truly awful

Does any neutral fan enjoy watching games of football anymore when their team isn't involved? I think the PL is at its lowest ever level in terms of entertainment. The nonsense during det pieces, poor standard of refereeing and too much play acting has made it unwatchable

What you are seeing in the @premierleague is a rapid transition away from real entertainment (open play goals, vociferous fans, flair players) to americanised entertainment (set plays, stat obsession, light shows, pre match entertainment)

@henrywinter Every team does it and it is awful to watch. Arsenal probably started it and have realised it doesn’t get penalised so they’ve taken it to the peak level. But all teams do it now. The level of skill and excitement in the PL is at an all time low as a result.
