These are adults that made a decision. They have to accept the consequences, if any, for the rest of their professional lives. This isn’t a free ride to be a bigot.

These students clearly do not meet a minimum requirement of “conduct themselves with honesty, integrity and candour”.

As adults, they do not meet the standards to be admitted to the bar.
