Fort Bend ISD is prioritizing the safety and well-being of students, staff, and families as hazardous winter weather is expected across the region.
Out of an abundance of caution:
• All FBISD athletic events and weekend activities scheduled for Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25, are canceled.
• FBISD schools and district offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.
This includes all classes, after-school activities, athletic events, and extended learning programs.
FBISD encourages staff and families to prepare for severe winter weather conditions expected later this weekend. Any additional changes to the normal school day, district operations, or scheduled activities will be communicated through the following official channels:
• FBISD website
• Local news media
• FBISD social media platforms
• FBISD mass email system
Parents and guardians are encouraged to ensure their contact information is current and accurate in Skyward to receive timely notifications. For the latest updates, the FBISD Severe Weather Hotline is available at (281) 634-4636.

To ensure a smooth start on Tuesday, August 12, we’re asking families to have students test their login credentials before school begins. Please complete this step by Sunday, August 10 so there’s time to fix any issues.
Here’s how:
1️⃣ Log in to Family Access and click on your student’s name. Select Student Password Information to view their credentials.
2️⃣ Have your student sign in to 1Link using the username and password shown.
3️⃣ Note: Students moving from 2nd to 3rd grade or 5th to 6th grade will have a new password this year.
4️⃣ Need help? Contact your campus ADA, Data Entry Clerk, or Registrar.
Detailed instructions have been emailed to parents and guardians. Let's #LevelUp and make sure student logins are ready to go for the first day of school!
